This Montessori-based program is based on the belief that children
have an innate knowledge of God. Trained volunteer catechists assist
the children with their discoveries of God in Level I for ages three
to five, Level II for grades 1-3 and Level III for grades 4-6.
The Atrium Guild includes volunteers who, after a 4 hour training,
assist the catechists in the atrium on Sunday mornings on a rotating
basis. Artists and craftspeople also serve on the Atrium Guild in
making materials for the atria.
The annual Eucharist Retreat and the Christmas Eve Children's Liturgy
offer special opportunities to assist with crafts, snacks, meals,
and other arrangements for the children.
