We know with piercing clarity, his life was about us. He was here to show us us. To look at the cross and see ourselves reflected is to say God is in us as he was in Jesus. It is as if Jesus is saying: I have shown you a way of living. It is now yours. Look at me. I am your mirror. See me in you. Live the God in you. |
