Mission of Trinity’s Ministry of Music

Our choir provides a ministry in music as we worship. These singers volunteer their talent to the parish to join in creating joyful sound in our Sunday 10:00 a.m. liturgy and festival liturgies. Choir rehearses Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 9:00 a.m. Contact: Grey Brothers, 965-7419.

Our prime and privileged task is to worship the God who made us, and to proclaim Jesus as the Savior and Hope of the world.  The mission of the ministry through music is to aid the congregation in worshiping God.  Through hymns, liturgical services music, choral anthems, ensembles, solos, hand bells, instrumental ensembles and liturgical dance.  The focus of our music is to praise God.  Music is an offering to God.  The choir is the heartbeat of our music ministry.  The choir members volunteer and provide devoted leadership in all areas of our worship.  Music at Trinity and the Evensong series offer community outreach concerts each month.  The Santa Barbara Boys Choir comprised of children and adults from the parish and the south coast community sing the Service of Evensong.
