The welcoming and inclusion of all people at Trinity is an important
element in Trinity's mission statement, an essential part of our church
community's identity, and is viewed as an 'all-parish ministry,' to
which we all contribute. Although perhaps not officially part of the
Welcoming and Inclusion Team, many parishioners intentionally welcome
newcomers and visitors to Trinity in their own unique ways.
However, there is an enthusiastic and dedicated group of volunteers
who serve as Greeters, Trinity Host Table and Parish Resource Table
volunteers, and who serve the community at newcomer events throughout
the year, who form the Welcoming and Inclusion Team. The commitment
and goal of these parishioners is to make the hospitality of the parish
real in the lives of everyone who comes through our doors.
