Announcement from the Associate Rector

I am thrilled to announce that parishioner Brian Bargiel is assuming the role of co-chair (alongside current co-chair Ralph Armbruster) of the Justice and Outreach Council (JOC), which is one of the ministry areas that comprises the Parish Council. Brian succeeds Jeffrey Krutzsch, who served as the JOC co-chair for many years. 

Brian is also serving as senior warden on our vestry and sings in the choir. He brings many gifts to the JOC and they are already off to a good start. The JOC is a hub for the various justice and outreach efforts of our parish and is currently undergoing some re-structuring and revisiting its mission/vision. JOC also enters a discernment process each year to give justice grants to various local justice and charitable organizations from 5% of our annual pledge income. JOC is getting ready to accept new members, so if you are interested, please contact me.
