Children, Youth, and Young Adult Ministries
Atrium Volunteers
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a Montessori-based, child-centered curriculum that is rooted in the conviction that children have a pre-existent relationship with the divine, which it is our privilege as adults to nurture. Catechists are parishioners who have accepted the call to attend rigorous and meaningful training; they serve the children in CGS on Sundays. Adult volunteers are needed to serve alongside them, and receive an hour of training to support the children and Catechists in their work on Sunday mornings.

Children and Youth Council (CYC)
If you are passionate about the mission and ministry of lifting up of our children and youth, be part of the committee that helps define the programs and activities. The Children & Youth Council meets once every other month to help plan fun and meaningful events that engage the children with the wider parish.

Nursery Ministry
The Trinity church nursery offers childcare for infants and toddlers up to age 3 and a half. The nursery offers a safe, pleasant, and spacious play space for our littlest parishioners, full of fun and age-appropriate toys and activities. Nursery care is provided every Sunday morning starting at 9am and continuing until the beginning of the Eucharist (approximately 10:35 am), when nursery children may be picked up and brought into church for communion with their families. The nursery is staffed by paid college students and volunteer parishioners, offering the chance for intergenerational fellowship.

Summer Sacred Arts
During the summer months, children aged 4 through 11 are invited to join our arts and crafts program, Summer Sacred Arts (SSA). This program happens on Sundays during the 10am service in the Parish Hall. SSA provides a fun and creative outlet for kids, and includes painting, craft-making, singing, cooking, and even astronomy lessons. Events vary week by week throughout the summer and are supported by parish volunteers who share their various gifts.

Youth Group Mentors and Support
Youth Group meets on Thursday nights at 7pm for various themed series hosted by guests, service projects, and sometimes just to hang-out and catch-up.
Youth Group is facilitated and designed by the Director of Children and Youth, Theo Patterson. The Director and Youth Group Mentors foster a safe, encouraging space for spiritual exploration and the asking of important questions. We also have a lot of fun building relationships over games, art and hanging out. Youth Group mentors attend Youth Group meetings approximately 1-2 times a month. You can support the Youth Group in a BIG WAY by helping supply snacks and meals at our events.

Young Adult Ministry (Watershed)
Support our young adult dinner church ministry with food and fellowship. Our young adult ministry, Watershed, is a group in the 18-30ish age range who meet monthly for dinner, discussion, and Eucharist around a common table. Support this ministry by providing food and fellowship.
