Plans are beginning to take shape for our collectibles sale Trinity Road Show: Trinkets to Treasures on Saturday, September 11 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is our third fund raising event to restore our Justice Fund to a full 10% of our budget.
We need help with publicity, planning the garden section, refreshments, pricing donations and decorations for the event. And, of course, we need volunteers to work the day of the sale. We will begin collecting treasures on the first Sunday in August and continue through every Sunday until Sept. 11. You may also drop off your special items at the church office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m.to Noon. There will also be opportunities to drop off your donations during the week or have your treasures picked up at your home. For those who need assistance delivering their items to us, please call Barbara Howell, 682-2334.
Please consider adding your name to the volunteer list at the Resource Table, and feel free to call Jean Davis 682-0376 or Susan Krutzsch 569-5012 for further information.
Share and enjoy Trinity’s Abundance Table each Sunday until mid-September. Stop by the table each week to share fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Take home things you can use; bring something to share (not necessary). Do you have trees that need picking? This year we have volunteers who can help gather your fruit for your use and to share at the table.
The table will be set up before the 10 o’ clock service. If you arrive before the table is staffed just leave your contribution at the table. We still need volunteers to assist during coffee hours and take down. ~ Sign-up today.
