The vestry has asked parish lay leaders to give testimonials at Sunday services. On September 18, Ralph Armbruster-Sandoval and his children Sol and Sky addressed the congregation. Each had a very special take on why their life at Trinity is so important to them.

Trinity is proud to be included with other faith communities in signing a statement of solidarity with LGBTQ+ people.

Alexander Thomas had this to say about serving as co-chair of the Hospitality Council: "I have met nearly every person here at Trinity. And it has afforded me the opportunity to really give back. I have received so much in these past few years. They say when you give away love it comes back threefold. In my case it comes back over 100-fold."

I wanted to share a little bit of my Trinity journey in hopes to inspire and prompt a bit of reflection about "what moves us."

I am excited to welcome seekers and church-shoppers and, importantly, to engage them in participation in ministry here.

It seems fitting to me that we are back together this Easter season, this time of resurrection and renewal. Like our church garden, we as a parish family are experiencing a resurgence of energy and growth following a long winter of dormancy in our many ministries and programs at Trinity.

The stories of Holy Week and Easter don’t simply tell about times past. They shape how it is we live now. They remind us of who we are and whose we are: beloved people of the God who is with us always, no matter what. They remind us that we are inextricably intertwined with one another and the world, and that we were created to care for one another.

We are delighted to announce that Mary Ann Paxton has joined the Trinity staff as our Front Office Administrator effective Wednesday, March 23.

Mary Ann is known to many of you through her work with the brothers of Mt. Calvary as the Guest House Director and Office Administrator. Before the monastery, Mary Ann spent 10 years at La Casa de Maria as their Conference and Programs Coordinator. Welcome Mary Ann!
